9515ROB Posted June 14, 2011 Report Posted June 14, 2011 i hate mustang trunks. I gave up along time ago on building boxes in there. I have a hard enough time fitting my batts and amp in there - 1998 Ford Mustang - Time to rebuild. 4 15s and alot of power TEAM DTF

I soo do not envy your trunk. I did a box for 2 12's for a buddy that has an 07.. i hated every second of it lol. This is still bad, but not as bad. Currently at am 6.3 cuft or something close. Sealed chamber is .88 and and gonna start at a 2:1 ration and continue to increase and test the ported chamber size until we're happy. Final tuning should be about 43hz. If I get motivated enough with the extra space I may build a fiberglass amp rack that bolt in. Gotta see how it all turns out first. That was my most disappointing project. Took a couple months to build, then it broke on the first day playing, didn't sound right anyway. Sorry for the little thread jack, OP. But occasionally I do carry a few people in the back, or carry a duffel bag or something. No plans to wall it quite yet, if I do it'l be a full wall in cab and using all trunk space most likely.
