leescotty2001
Here is a short video of my setup. Hard to see if I need to I will take it during the day so you can see it better. I thought this would hit a tad bit harder. I have an epic 160 doing the metering. My current setup is Sony HU Epic-160 not used during test except the spl meter Rockford Fosgate T30001bd 3 Rockford Fosgate T2's 15'' I thought the box was tuned to 35hz My question is should I get another box so I can get it louder? Also During the song it cuts out at around 60 cycles. What ever that is in hertz I dont know. I play the song Hoods run down by lil whyte and in the intro. I dont pick up the lows right before the song starts. Any help appreciated Here is a vid. http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j130/lee...nt=MOV02726.flv

LSN2meBoom916
Cycles=hertz=hz. same thing. Need some better shots of your box, too dark in the vid. "You thought" is was tuned to 32hz?..based on what info/specs? CFT/port dimensions etc please. that IS slightly low for that number of subs/size and power. 3-T2 15's off 3kw "should" be louder but your box is the key to sucess or failure in this case. I pull about the same numbers on the same mic in my Integra w/ 4-12's sealed off about 1200-1400rms. If it doesn't play 60hz....does it play Other frequencies ABOVE 60hz? or just no/minimal output above 60hz? If so I say check ur xover settings on the amp. ~2cents Quote COOGLE SAID:"bro thats how we got where we are... buy making messes ...... i still learn all the time you just gota be willing to ruck up some shit" "In order to attain the impossible, one must attempt the absurd." ~ Miguel de Unamuno"One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men, but no machine can do the work of one extraordinary man" -Elbert Hubbard"A proud man can learn humility...but he will be proud of that too" ~I forget who.I'm far from perfect and I know it better than anyone, but I hope to be good at what I do, when I do it...Installs I've done:My Integra: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=3161The Lexus : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=1535Law's Maxima: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=5568&hl=Jeff's 2500HD: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=5382&hl=Acura RSX-S: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=3142Z-32 300zx: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=34602004 Civic 4dr: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=8190Trunk/Corner Box: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...c=16036&hl=1969 Chevy C-10: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...c=20319&hl=Seat-Back AMP-RACK How-to: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...ic=9428&hl=Bunch of subs still for salehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...l=lsn2meboom916"It's game night...we're playin......sex."~Quagmire"When disneyland started it was powered completely by orphan children running on treadmills to generate e-lectrissty…and today, them children are New York Yankees". ~Dale Gribble"Fill it with ice...then pour it up to the top of the ice...& Shut da Fu** up!" ~Urs truly. leescotty2001
Well 60hz is way off imo. I think the box is small myself. It measures 50.5'' Length 20'' High 22.5'' Deep Ports are 14'' by 2'' high. I dont know how far back it goes There is a divider inbetween each sub. Does this help any? Here are pics
Derrick824
First flip your box over so that the ports are on the bottom facing the rear and see what happens. Next build yourself a new box. I'm figuring you have roughly 3ft of airspace & 28" of port area per sub. Go for 3.5ft w/ 50in of port per sub tuned to 32-35hz and you'll be much happier. Do you know if your subs are d2s or d4s? I have built a box before for 2 15'' hx2 powers that was approx 9.6 cubes before. I think I can build another one. Just how do I figure out tuning. Think if I built a bigger box I can add some more db's?
