Parentnoia Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 Does anyone know where to find aftermarket parts for a 98 Ford Escort SE? If it helps, the engine is a 2.0 L SPI2000 SOHC I4. The engine was rebuilt right before I got it two years ago. Ive been looking around the internet for parts but I have no clue if they'll actually fit and I dont want to spend a huge chunk of money on a part that wont fit. If I can get away with it, a slightly bigger engine overall. EDIT: And lowering springs. Link ----- that should have something for ya I've looked there before, but then it comes back to how can i be guaranteed that stuff will actually fit without spending a buttload of money just to find out it doesnt fit. Even though I love my car dearly, doing things like that is like gold plating a turd... Its cheaper than a new car and it'll give me something to be proud of. I want to turn it to a bit of a sleeper.
