i didnt have this issue till yesterday i have had this equipment installed in my car for a month and a half and this is the first time i have had the amp cut out

im running stinger 1/0 wire with a 250 amp anl fuse.

the thing is i have all of this installed in 2001 VW gti and i was having issues getting into the obd2 system. so i found out by searching the net that the remote wire coming from the deck was wired into what is called the k-line in VW and it was locking me out of the obd2 system so i clipped that wire now i can get into just fine but when i bump the system for to long it cuts the subs does anyone have anyideas? thanks for lookin!!!

run the remote wire from any 12 volt source and put a toggle switch on it

well i still have it connected on the remote out of the deck its just not attached to the cars stock wire harness anymore. should i just connect it via toggle switch??? instead of the remote out from the deck?

What battery do you have up front? Your stock electrical isn't going to like supporting 2000w.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

if it works out of the back of the deck it should be fine like that, but if your having problems still id just toggle switch it up

well im gonna try that and see if it helps i wanted a toggle anyway but main issue is my whole system is run off amps so ill have to set the t1500 off a separate toggle switch

also im going to be completing the big 3 upgrade this weekend all 1/0 guage and that should help a bit

id say its a battery issue, but if you didnt have a problem before i dont see why it messes with it now, only thing i can say is its the remote or something happened to the amp.

its only a month and a half old so ill be getting a new one if thats the case i know haven't charged my battery in like a week so it could be a battery issue. im gonna charge the battery when i get home and see what happens.

what happens exactly is when i run the system at the levels i normally do the power light on the amp the power light blinks when it cuts the bass so im thinking toggle switch or battery issue. any other ideas i can try for this weekend?

i will try to charge the battery first to see if thats my issue
