Craig28 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 when you blow a coil it either: gives a ridiculous, or no reading on a dmm, or scratches when you push down on the cone right? since they said my amp is fine i guess the only thing that would make the sub not play would be blown coils/tinsels but when i tested my + and - speaker wire leads i got a pretty normal reading on the dmm. and now i have no idea what else to check. Try to hook up a known, working speaker up to the wire and that will tell you if it has anything to do with the sub that is in there currently. Just hook up a different speaker and see if the different one works.
