I had 2 W6's on 1 500/1 and it was pretty loud until my 500/1 quit putting out as much power as it used to and would then go into protect mode because it couldnt handle the 10's anymore. But a 500/1 should be efficient for your w7, it is an amazing amp and if I were loaded, I would buy only JL. That amp and sub combined is a great combination and should suit you well. I dont know much about trucks and stereos in them but you should be good. What would be better would be to sell the amp, trying to get around $250, and buy a Crescendo amp or Audioque amp. your knowledge amazes me. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

You think they are much better than the Boston Acoustics SR60? I'm asking cause i can get the C5 for $300 bucks. But don't know if they will be way better than my SR60's. I am running 2 set's of the C5 650's currently and I love them. The tweeters are bright and the midbass is rich. I am running those off of the JL XD600 amp and I have a set of the 4" in my dash for the center channel. I love the JL mids alot and not sure if i would run a different set of mid's, they are holding up to my abuse very nicely. JohnyDee21 Posted June 7, 2011 Author Report Posted June 7, 2011 i dont think id ever run a ZR JL comp set though....a 900 dollar comps set that gets walked on by a 200 dollar set...no thanks and all the lines below the ZR theres a ton of alternatives. My problem with JL comps anything dynamic with some kinda volume...they break up tweet isnt great mid lacks balls large passive crossover Which comps are you talking about man? What kind of 200 dollar set can walk on a JL ZR? I'll buy those in a flash hahaha
