Your first computer - what was it?
DStortz replied to meade916's topic in Computer Talk - News, technology, advice
Commador 64 Here. Played the shit out of Bard Tales 3 Theives of Fate. There was also some racing game that you could change the gravity pull and everything in so when you hit a jump you would just keep going and going, Could go upstairs get a drink and come back down to the computer and you might have landed by then. Lol i miss those days so much -
Lol when I turned 30 I had this same thought. The only thing I would have changed is I would not have had a live in gf. She slowed down the best years of my life. I partied way to much in those years but that is when u are suppose to do those things. Live it up before u turn 30, if u are anything like me I took turning 30 pretty hard

Styles Of Car Audio
DStortz replied to Toady's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Loud and Low anything over 150 @30-35 hz is my favorite with the mid's and highs to back it up -
I was a young office supply salesman at the time Tuesdays was my day to call on the airforce base accounts. I have never been a person to get up early and watch the news I just get up and go to work. So as I pulled up to the main gate like I did every Tuesday, and generally just get waved through. It was a bit different. This time I was greeted with a gun and ordered to get out of my car and lay face down, while they searched my car and did background check. Not knowing what was going on I was scared shitless and pissed. 45 mins later I was released and went to a friends house and found out what was going on. Afterwards I was so proud ofnour armed forces even in montana they were taking every precausion

Well we ended up ordering them. I finally got a chance to hear the speakers and the sub. Not as impressed as I wanted to be, but the price is right for a room that will be used 6 times a year for a bunch of high school kids. If they want loud and have there heads rung they can got outside and sit in my truck or rock out in the main area where we have some nice peavy equipment. Thank-you everyone for your info it helped alot.

Hello everyone, I have gotten thrown into a mess here. We are building a theater room in our youth group building for my church. I youth minister has finshed up his internship here and has returned back to school. He started this project and never finshed it. He got a quote from one of the home audio stores here in my town. They sell Proficient Audio. I have never heard of this company and was hoping that someone on here has and can let me know if it is decent stuff. It does seem to be a bit high priced. So any information would be great on it, if anyone has any personal experience on it. thanks

Thank you for the link, that is what comes on the DVD that they send and has nothing about how to get the two way remote to communicate with the brain. -
Need Help with Alarm

Unfortunily stuff does not come with owners manuals anymore, it did come with a DVD user guide that tells you jack shit. From what I have read online there is install guides but those are only available to dealers, and of course there tech support is not open on the weekends. Guessing that I will just have to take it back tomorrow an shave them fix it. I was hoping that it was a simple fix that I could do myself, cause the only reason that I bought this model is for the 2 way paging and with out the use of that remote it's pretty much worthLess to me. Thank you for the help so far -
hello everyone hoping that i can get some help with this alarm. I just had it installed today. It is the Auto Lock VSS-204TW The alarm came with 2 remotes 1 x 3 button remote that works just fine and also came with a two way lcd remote. The problem is that the two way remote is the one that is not working. Wont arm or disarm the alarm. This is the remote that I would really like to use, The shop that I had install the alarm was closed by the time that I picked up my truck and wont be open again until Monday. If anyone has any experience with this alarm and can give me a couple of ideas on how to get it working or if it needs to be programmed with the brain that would be a great help. Thank you in advance. D

They are spendy but I ran 2 of them and loved the way they sounded, still got them just trying to figure out what car to put them in. In all honesty I would buy them again if space was limited. They have a really nice deep sound to them, and are very accurate.

Pretty much all of your local shops that sell Alpine should have that cable in stock. If not then audiosavings or sonic have it. If I remember right the cable is only like #30.00 so it isnt to expensive.

I tried to justify this also when I went with a sealed this time around. Sealed just does not get loud enough. I will say that I enjoy the sound, it is smoother but when you really want to rattle your head good it will not be enough for you. I have ran my sealed box now for a year in my truck and just said f'it im cutting a big ass whole in the back and porting through That is my 2 cents.

last day ever

I didnt like any of the 33 people from my Graduating class, still dont like them today. I can honestly say that the day I graduated from High School there was 2 celebrations, 1 from the party that I threw, and 1 from that the teachers and admin staff threw for me never being there again. But i dont have any regrets from my High School years, we did it all and then some.... -
Well just had a amazing moment. I am sitting in my office and there is not a single person in the store, so I lean over and let one go that could have done a hair trick. As the cloud is hanging in my office a customer that I am trying to sell a new copier to walks right into the cloud. I am just dieing inside right now from not being able to laugh. He knows what was going on, and I tired to get him out of my office as fast as I could out of respect.
