try some foil tape on the sub & port & try rounding over the edges on the box.

i tried flipping sub and port up = was terrible

tried to flip it to the front, port to passenger sub to driver's side, i got same result as shooting to the back, but only when i rose the front end of the sub up for an inch so it was shooting slightly upwards not directly to yhe seats.

what do you mean with foil tape, to seal em or use it alot to try to smooth the port?

also about rounding the edges, do you mean rounding the exterior edges ?

i have rounded the edges inside the box already.

i ask these with great curiosity, as i am lacking many dB's and i take every suggestion seriously to get those missing dB's back!

yes, round the outer edges of the box.

take the gasket off of the sub & put foil tape around the edges of the basket to smooth it over to the box, same on the outer lip of the port.

2 competitions behind, 2 wins!

smaller one was a local car enthusiast gathering were was no SPL competition, but they gave me the first place in SPL -serie as there really was nothing to compare against. second loudest was aprox 136-138dB and i was groundpounding with my beast.

the bigger i won today at local Car Audio -gathering.

there were Termlab, total of 12 trophies for 4 diffirent type of leagues.

i was competiting in "Others / Unlimited"

got 145,6dB on TL and i was not happy about it, blew my fuses

however i won the biggest trophy

but i did not got the highest SPL, highest was in other league and he did it with one 12" and 2 3500D amps, total of 4400w rms. and i got 1500D at .5 with 3000w. he got highest score of 145,9dB and i got 145,6dB so i lost ONLY 0,3dB with 1400w less power.

next week is the biggest competition i prolly am attending. i gotta push that 145 back to 147dB...

updates!

i competeted at official MaxBoom competition on saturday 20th.

and won with 144,2dB average!

i'm still missing 2dB's.

sigh.

however, this year there is only one more competition so i think that i got the change to win that with my peak 147,5dB because it is only for max SLP not for average play. and i got whole winter to think what the hell i can do to break 145dB average and push it up to 146dB.

the best score at my 1500w semi-unl is 148,2dB AVG. so i got long way ahead. the equipment is ok only missing alot of howto, whattodo, whatnottodo etc.

i found out that everything at the back was loose.

the licence plate, the backlights, everything.

so when i cramped em back on tight i gained abit. got 147,88 on 47Hz with full battery.

i'll get some dampening mat in few weeks so i should break that 148!

fixed licence plate.

fixed my backlights... they broke up because of the Heavy Drop on: Cyberoptics - pimpin.

started to make some interior panels!!

more to come, ive planned some new fresh paint into my box, moar stickers, dampening, etc. pphew.. :3
