Johny B Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 Ok so im getting a pair of 5.25 components-front and 5.25 coaxials-rear in my BMW. They will be around 80-100 watts rms. I currently have a Alpine MRP F-600 that im planning on using to amplify these speakers. (100rms @ 4ohms x 4). The thing is im getting new subs too and im getting a Soundstream DTR amp to power the subs so i was thnking of getting the Soundstream DTR 4.500(80rms @ 4ohms x 4) to match it since im making an amp rack. My problem is the Alpine amp gives out more power but the DTR will look cleaner in the amp rack because it'll match. What would you guys do in thi situation? Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.

I don't think they will suck it depends on what you want. Some people don't understand every body is not in competition. Even the best and most expensive electronics can fail at any given time. There is a lot of good info on here about amps.But it all come down to what you like and can afford. Here are some that i like dc audio sundown audio MB quatz sound stream Rubicon but some are out of my price range,some things are not worth my hard earned money. i love the dc and the sundown. The Dc is big and don't fit my set up. Sundown you can run active MB quartz my be next for me,I've heard good reviews. But shit i got my Soundstream brand new for free so you can't beat that with a bat 2009 bmw 5 series Head Unit Stock Amplifier-JL Audio JX 360/4 Processor- Audiocontrol LC6
