6berry
Any issues with the subs firing directly in to the amps on the back of the seats (vibration)? the vibration directly on the amp probably isnt very good for it but i leave my seats down whenever nobody is in the back seats anyways. and ive noticed when driving with the seat up, the kx3 crossover turns down the output levels for the subs and rear speakers 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth
6berry
Hows that box working out for you facing that direction? I have mine the same way and is way louder with my trunk opened. I tested this over the weekend and definitely has way more output like that 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth
6berry
Finally made a buss bar so I can consolidate that rat trap of wires and get rid of the capacitor. Each buss bar is 24" long x 1" wide x 1/8" thick. I wasnt sure if 1/8" would be thick enough since I always see people use 1/4" but this should work for now. Their is 12 3/8" holes drilled and tapped on each bar but for now i will only be using 4 of each bar. still need to sand and paint the wood they will be mounted on and screw the bars to the wood and cut down the screws because the shortest ones home depot had were 1" 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth

6berry
Even though nobody cares ill post some progress. Finished the buss bar I started yesterday and made the trim panels to seal off the trunk. They provide a very good seal but will still be using some of the towels i was using before. The trim pieces are made from random pieces of 1" wood cut on a tablesaw. They are attached with liquid nail but i might put some nails or screws in if i think they need it 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth

6berry
i did notice a slight difference with this panel. when i tested it before with just the buss bars instead of the capacitor i noticed a huge difference in sound and the battery voltage stayed perfectly just under 14 with constant bumping. i am getting a little noise problem from somewhere but i dont know whats causing it yet next i think im gonna move the speaker terminals to the front so i can shorten the speaker wires and make it looks a bit cleaner 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth
