Fucking Ups

well, i shipped the rds a few days ago and they were in PERFECT working order, nothing wrong with them.

the guy gets them and the basket is broke, and the coils are "burned" according to him. says they are black. i have pictures of the day he purchased them, that the coils are white/silver, indicating no burning/clipping etc.

ups only used the $100 complimentary insurance and i swore up and down i told them to add an extra $100 on them, maybe it was because of my poor packaging? or maybe is was because they threw them around? eithier way, he wants his money back.

the package was 60 pounds, so throwing it around is possible but not likely imo.

so the guy says the recones will cost him over $600 blah blah blah, and he would take me to court and blah blah blah, so what are my options?

yea the guy could of hooked them up fuck it does he live near u im taking it no cause u mailed them so let him take u to court if u no they were fime then u have nutting to worry about people do that shit all the time they will get something and says its fucked up and its really not they try and just get there money back

well, i dont have eveidence he has or hasnt hooked them up, because he said the basket was broken when he got them.

i live in georgia he lives in kentucky. and ive asked him several times for pictures of the coils, but he has yet to send them to me, i have pictures of tem before i shipped to him, and they were perfectly fine.

um give the guy the money back. as you being the Seller YOU are responsible for all insurance claims on it.

when you add extra insurance on package they make you initial it on receipt so sounds like dumb move on your side for not addidng insurance.

doesnt matter, point is it was damaged in shipping...basket cracked. its now the SELLER'S responsibility to give his money back.

the coils well, maybe he shouldnt have hooked it up,if he did, but the sub was damaged regardless before he hooked it up, it wont make a lick of diff, that sub is going to get gutted for a recone anyhow.

Hey, my friend is a manager at UPS & they pack the shipping trucks from head to toe, & unload them in 30 minutes . Two people per truck with a conveyor belt, stuff is thrown out. If you packaged them with news paper (I read on CA Forum ) It is indeed not going to make it in one piece. My advice is to fix this problem, be a man make a resolution.
