Happy to hear you are doing well. Also I love seeing GP builds. Check out my GXP in my sig.

I am in love with your doors. I have been wanting to do the same thing with mine, but also adding a mid bass to the panel as well. If you have any tips or steps for me on having the same success as you with your doors, please fire away.

what's up man..so when do i get my demo?

I'm available whenever you're ready...but be warned, a demo in my car will be like using a squirt bottle with a battery operated fan, versus your NFL style Cool Zone H2, lmao.

Do you plan on going to the Pulse show on the 15th?

So after work today, I put the twins to work on setting my gains and setting my amp frequencies.

What a completely different sounding system I have right now!! All in all, it probably took me about 30 mins to do the whole thing, but I was slowly and carefully reading the directions step by step. I will definitely be shooting a couple videos tomorrow, but I'm even more impressed with my components now than I was before.

Well I've been contemplating building a new box for my beasts for a while now. I finally figured out what I wanted and sent a request to RAM. Here's what the new box will look like.................

You ready??

I can't wait to see the difference with the new box. Now it's time to gather the supplies and get to work!!

My front stage needs a boost though, and I'm debating on another set of CK6's and finding someone/trying to glass door panels myself.

  • 2 weeks later...

Alright,

I have always wanted to buy a nice double din dvd player for my car, and finally decided on buying the Pioneer AVH 4400BH. I got it in last Friday and installed it Saturday. I love it, other than the fact that I've been unable to play a video from my iPhone....not sure why either. Here's a nice lil pic of it...

A little Family Values '98 DVD playing....yes that's Fred Durst, don't judge me lol.

So I went to the Pulse Car Audio show on Sunday with my boy. Ran into Chode69 and talked to Ric, and entered my first comp. To be honest, I was nervous as fuck for my first run. I was having trouble with my iPhone working with the iPod cable (because I was using the wrong one). I really had NO CLUE what to play because this was the first time I've ever metered my car, so I really have no clue where I peak. But I didn't care because it was my first time and I just was looking forward to the learning experience and having fun.

So I pulled up to be metered, sealed on the dash with NSPL rules. I decided to run with X-rated by Excision....dubstep, but I had to play it over bluetooth because it wouldn't connect through the ipod cable. It started....I cranked that fucker up to 38 (head unit distorts there) and found myself turning up that remote gain, thoroughly ignoring a rapidly flashing red light.....BUT the motherfucker of it was I was watching the LED display and I couldn't break 135. This pissed me off a little bit. So as I go to put it in drive I realize that sometime during the run the car stalled out, lmfao....and I have NO CLUE why it did that. So I leave the lane and go park, a little disappointed because I was really hoping for a 140, but still happy because I finally competed. As I parked I went to switch the song on my phone to listen to a little "Goons on Deck" Decaf'd, I went to skip forward and accidentally moved the volume up.......my volume on my phone was about a 1/4 of the way down in my ipod app!!! Now I was really fucking pissed, because through bluetooth, your volume on your phone impacts your deck. I don't know how much of a difference it would've made, but I'll definitely see the next time I compete.

So I left the comp a lil pissed, but also knowing what I wanted to fix/change/correct before my next show.

-Upgrade my front battery

-H/O Alternator

-Turn around box and seal it off from the trunk

So I bought this on my way home from work tonight

And I got a quote from Mr. Mike Singer

A couple people have asked for a video of just my CK6's, so I'll shoot that tomorrow during the day, as well as a new video with the overall sound, and post them up tomorrow night. So stay tuned......

I did have fun...a little embarrassed about it shutting off, but I still enjoyed it. It's just driving me to go get the alternator upgraded. I'm looking a Singer and Mechman, thought about DC Power, but it seems like some people have had really long waits and I'm one impatient bastard. I already have the box now firing forward, port drivers side and it seems louder. I'm about to go buy some pool noodles to see if I can seal it off temporarily until I can take some time off from work and do the 4th order.

And I will definitely get my ass on a meter to see where I peak.
