alehound Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 I just got one in the mail, and Ive never used a RCA level knob before, so I was wondering how everybody sets theirs up. I did a search and saw one guy who set the knob to 3/4 up and then adjusted the gain on his amp from there. Also, the package says that the control does +or- 8dbs. So does that mean the top half of the knob is acting like a bass boost, with a clean 0db right in the middle? Any insight is appreciated. Patiently waiting until 2016...the year in which I likely get to 300 posts... In which then, and only then, will I finally be able to get me some more decaf...
C-Fizzy Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 I LOVE my PAC-LC1. I turn the PAC up all the way, then adjust the gain from there. It seems like it is more of a voltage regulator. As it controls the signal from RCA out of the HU, to RCA in of the amp. When I turn my PAC knob all the way down, I get absolutely no output. I love that never got it with my sundown bass knob.. lol under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
