woodzyspl Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Ok i have a soundstream xxx 15 the older type, was wondering if i could use it in a bandpass box, it will use interchangeable ports for daily/comp. daily id like about 32hz and burp not sure yet, now i no these arn't ment for sealed box's so i read in other thread to reverse mount the sub to change it plus save room for sealed box, had matt402 (thanks for being the 1st) already say "1.3 cubes sealed & 2.5-3 cubes ported" would that be good? just curious to who has used these subs or people good with bandpass. cheers boys if i don't reply im asleep lol 12am here. RAM_Designs Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Tuning a bandpass is different than a ported box. 45hz is a low tuning for a BP, 33hz is just retarded. The XXX isn't really a prime candidate for a 4th order BP, but it shouldn't do horrible if you're just wanting to get loud.
