fmedina
whats an optimal position for a ported box in a trunk. want to stay away from box all the way to the back or sealing it off. i want the box close to the cabin but want to know what way to face the sub and port if that makes sense. i need to have some trunk space. will either go with a single 10 or 12 if this works out. would sub back and port back still be the way to go in this scenario? or sub to the side and port back? bumonskateboard6
Yup either sub back port back, sub back port sideways, sub sideways port back, or bandpass port through armrest or rear deck are all the best setups for a trunk. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

fmedina
ok i might give sub to the side and port back a try since i wont want anything i put in my trunk to interfere with the sub moving like a baby stroller lol
