I have the same deck i go up to about vol. 20

12- DC Audio m2Lvl3 12's1- Hertz HSK3 way2- DC5K's2- ZX350.42- Stinger SP1500D batteries in rear3- runs of 1/0ga. to the rearTeam DC Audiodc-banner.jpgdcsoundlab.com

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

im not sure bro i dont have access to an o scope ive had the deck for years now and if i go any higher than that it starts to get distorted

ill keep checking back on this topic though because i would also like to know :good:

assuming both decks are fairly similar, thats a pretty big difference volume wise. Are you guys running speakers off the hu or separate amp? Ill be using an amp for my install today, I'll check back in when I'm done.

i run off amps. like i said i just like mine at vol. 20 :D

Finally got around to installing everything; RE 6.5c front, RE 6.5 rear off a Planet Audio BB175.4, 2 RE SEx 10s off a Planet Audio RXD1400. Gains set with a DMM, HU volume set at 30 w/ eq flat and I have no audible distortion.

I talked to a local KW dealer as well as a KW customer support regarding HU clipping point and rca rms voltage and got different answers from both.

Dealer: HU clips at 32/35 @ ~2.5-3v rms front/rear, 32/35 @ ~2.5-3v subs +2

CS: claims the HU will not clip 35/35 @ ~4.5-5v

Haven't had a chance to check rca voltage meself just yet.
