The third brake light is tinted, i just did it today. looks cool. what i would do is the red part of the tail lights and leave the top clear. i think ima do it. anyone else rockin tinted tails? BeatBox
u had them on my jimmy, then i got some already tinted tails off of ebay i like just alittle tint to them, not totally blacked out for your, id go very light on the tint and like u mention only the red on the tailights leave the clear parts clear to match up with the rest of the lights the middle one is done, but IMO id redo it. if u used VHT Nightshades you can take it off with brake cleaner

Audio-Concepts
If you do it, dont use that VHT garbage! It looks cheap and flat. The best way to do it is tape off the tail light and spray them with tinted clear coat, then any dirt and such in the clear can be wet sanded out. I did mine that way, and if you tint it properly you can choose your level of darkness! These are my tail lights done that way, look black, but completely transparent when the lights are on! jconnway
i didnt spray them, I used a vinyl type film. came in a roll, was cheap, some kids asked me to tint theirs and i had leftovers so i figured id see. they look darker than they are in person... more of a light smoke. i like them, and yeah there's no way id do the reverse lights, i barely get any light from those anyway cause im stupid and put in LED bulbs for the coolness haha Quote Full Pioneer Build 4 Per Door - Front Door Build Up
