Well i was thinking about 2 of those, or just a l7 15'' kicker. But then i learn about all these underground subs, just tryin to get a feel for what is best for me, i don't wanna be regreting or wanting something different a bigger boom in 4-6 months yanno man? And JD i gotcha, im still new to all this audio, how would you blow a sub though, wire it wrong or what.

not even that

its more so your going to need to get bigger alt couple runs of wire couple batteries and a big ass amp to power it to its potential

if you get a mid range sub that will take roughly 1500 rms you wont have to spend all the extra money on amp/batteries/wire

and with proper box it will get loud

plus your skill level seems rather low

so there is the chance of you blowing sub/amp

a cliped signal

gains set wrong- wired wrong- setting the deck wrong - not enough power to amp causing voltage drop causing amp to go boom

theres alot of things that will cause a sub to blow

Okay i got you guys, thanks a ton. Yeah i know nothing about clipping ect. Honestly i don't know how much rms im pushing anyways i have a cheap 2000w Crunch 2000.1 amp. Running to a KickerCVX 750rms sub, that's not even in the right box. So is it possible that im not even hitting the 750 it can handle. If so i'll still want a dif sub, but i won't be looking for the crazy amount of wattages haha. And stick to the 1500 or so. That's a wonderful suggestion because i really don't want to have to get another alt battery ect. But if i have to for a big boom i will. Thanks so much man.
