Blazer Boy280
ok guys i just got done checking my subbs to see if they are blown and they weren't i dont have access to any fancy stuff so i used a 9 volt battery i had. my question to you guys is since my subbs are dual 4 ohm kicker cvr's i have bolth positives wired up and bolth negatives wired together on each sub but separate from one another and then to the amp i have a orion hcca d2400 amp that is one channel but has 2 positive terminals and 2 negative terminals what is the ohm load my amp is seeing here is a paint pic in case you don't understand http://i.imgur.com/ntoXy.jpg reds represent the (+) wire green and blue represent the (-) wire so the subbs are wired at 2 ohms separate so dose that mean the amp is seeing 1 ohm or ?? any help would be appreciated thanks SMD forum Edited June 14, 2011 by Blazer Boy280 Quote My Build:Blazer Got Bass

Blazer Boy280
ok so the kickers are getting roughly 600 watts each is that correct and if so you think thats is fine even though they are 500 watts rms Quote My Build:Blazer Got Bass
Blazer Boy280
sorry to double post but if say they were wired back works like positives went to negative to the amp what would it sound like Quote My Build:Blazer Got Bass
homiewes
Your subs are wired to a 1ohm load. so whatever your amp puts out at 1 ohm is what your subs are seeing Quote My youtube channel, please subscribehttp://www.youtube.com/ballinblaza

You're just pushing them a little harder then they're designed for. Quote 1998 Plymouth Voyager (daily) Jensen VM9213 H.U. Never Satisfied
sorry to double post but if say they were wired back works like positives went to negative to the amp what would it sound like U would notice the deference...u only do that if you invert them.... And yes 100 watts over won't hurt your subs... Quote If you are ever satisfied, sounds like you gave up... Never Satisfied ~Team Ns~
