For example, looking here on Amazon, I see a lanzar amplifier advertised to be 2000 watts (4 channel) at only 68 bucks. Although I have no experience with their products, it just seems kind of fishy. techforce Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Easiest thing to look out for if your new into this is the actual "RMS" wattage of an amp.. Some will boast 5,000 watts yet, truly only put out 100 watts RMS! also look at the size of the power wire or fusing... the fusing should be around 10 amps per 100 RMS watts as a good rule of thumb...
