I dont want to pay to go to a recording studio yet, cuz i just usually do for fun. does anyone no how to like record songs and make them sound good? cuz i think it wuld be badass if i had my ryhms blasted on my system. Baydestrian Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) make sure you are in a quiet environment. my friends record in a small closet with the door closed. Do you have a pop filter? You record so its just vocals (accapella) then you lay that over the beat right? You can just cut out the breathing if its after a line/verse. They use protools for the mixing, its not mastered but their newer stuff is coming out sounding cleaner since my boy is learning more. If your willing to spend time learning how to record properly, use a decent program, and spend a little money not a whole lot but def some. You will got a lot better result.
