RiddleRampage84 Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 I have to Audiobahn Flame Qs in a sealed box at the moment...but I am going to build a new box tomorrow...here is my ? I used the RE Calculator to figure a box...but they put the port on the far left side...I want to put it in the middle like the build Steve did on the Pathfinder will it change the tunin of the port if I move it to the center rather than the left...Sorry for the dumb question Im just new to ports so I have no idea...any help would be great. fourlug Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 It wont change the tuning of the port, but it may not perform as well in that position. It may also perform better. No it won't change the tune of the port building it in the center of the enclosure. I have build several boxes for friends using this design only one for the Audiobahnn Q 15s the Qs will perform much much better for you in a ported box as well. use the recommended enclosure and just moving to ports to the inside Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
