Hotdog
Need to put a dmm on that alt. Does your alternator have an external voltage regulator? Hotdog
could be something else in your system drawing power causing the voltage drop you have power windows? Window motors can drop voltage pretty good if there going bad or stuck Quote (NEW) 2004 F-150 Build Log -->http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/192208-hotdogs-f-150-build-log/ 2003 Mercury Mountaineer Build Log --> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/114380-hotdogs-2003-mountaineer-build-log-20-removed/page__gopid__1602379#entry1602379 2008 Equinox Build Log --> http://www.stevemead...g/#entry1475764

Nathan @ XSpower
Wiring issue some where. If everything is wired up properly you shouldn't have any drop from front to back. Recheck everything and even the simple things that you think there is no way they could be wrong.
REaudioBuff
Do you think it would be a good idea to just replace the run of 0 back the the rear? I'll make it knu this time and do a neg run as well. Or should I just run another one straight off the alternator back to the rear??? Nathan @ XSpower
Front battery to back battery will work.
Chaise
You said that even with the rear batteries unhooked and the amp hooked directly to the front battery it still reads 12.0-ish? That makes it seem like its the amp. Although its weird how after you charge the batteries it reads fine for a few minutes then drops off.. Quote I like the oldschool one..
