KickerKid58 Posted June 21, 2011 Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) By the end of the summer I should have enough cash to finally get a new setup so i need to finalize what i am going to drop in. The car is a '99 Civic lx. My goal is to squeeze in (4) 12" DC LVL3 's (possibly LVL4's if I can afford it) I am trying to come up with designs tho and I'm starting to think it will be not enough room... here are some pics view from inside car through fold down seats current system. box was kinda hacked up so it would fit in this car. Here is a rough layout of my my trunk i drew out. i rounded down on the measurements if i wasnt sure. and here are the dims on the box i showed above. I would say that this is pretty close to the biggest i guess 'removable' box that would fit in my car. so like i said the goal is to do 4 12's but i guess i could suffice with 4 10's. I'm just trying to figure out how to arrange all the subs so i can fit them in.. Optimally i want a ported enclosure tuned in the mid to low 30's that is completely sealed off from the trunk. ill also add that whatever i end up getting i will be doing any/all electrical upgrades so i can fully power what i get. (2.4k watts for the LVL3's......4k watts if i go LVL4's) plus i already got the big3 and will be getting an XS 5100R very soon so i should be at least half way there lol. And I'm thinking he says that because of the equipment you have in the pics, and the fact that you believe you can fit 4 twelves. Get 2 lv 5 12s, throw 6k watts on em, and enjoy Quote N8.
