The length isn't everything you need the right amount of port area for proper tuning.

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but I thought that the port calculator handled all that? You give it 2 numbers and a frequency and it spits out a length? Is there more to it than this? Maybe sometime down the line I will remake the box, I will definitely make the tuning a bit lower, and the port a bit bigger, probably use a circular port.

It handles what you tell it to handle. It won't make the perfect box, hell it won't give any numbers out without you putting some in. How big is your port mate? Looks to be 10sqin

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

That's 7sqin of port. Like 5sqin per cube... God damn lol. When you decide to rebuild the box, try and triple the port area mate ;)

I'd also recommend tuning a tad lower.

Good thing I posted this up, you don't really learn if you don't try, eh? Having the sub in this enclosure won't damage it right? Just won't sound as good as it could?

It could damage the sub. But yeah it's good you posted this, the best way to learn is by making mistakes and learning from them. Just never make the same mistake twice! :drinks:

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..
