Recommended Posts

Hey guys is 5x6 enuff port area a DC level 3 ten in a 1.50 cube box? This is not for daily listeing for max spl number on 3k of power tuning is high 65 hz. The port area it is using now is 7x5.5 with it being 14 in. tall tuned to 65 hz but sub gets hot quick thinking this is from too much port area. What u guys think? this is just to get maxx number on T/L.

its tuned too high. and 5x6 seems quite a lot 5x5 is better. Maybe tune a few hertz lower? Do you get lots of excursion? And 3k is quite a lot.

So you have each 10 in 1.5ft3? If so, that's way to big. You might wanna start at around .8 with 16in2 of port and work from there. I tested 2 lvl 3/4 10s on a D5 at .25 with little heat issues. I ran into mech max but not thermal. What vehicle are they in? You can see what size port I ran on 4 this weekend in Houston
