Arsaces Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 I am no guru, but I am assuming that you are using .75 mdf, I am also assuming that you are talking about the P2D415 woofers. Working off of those assumptions the math works out like this: 39 x 18 x 21 with .75mdf = 6.98242 cu ft. 6.98242 - sub displacement (0.066 cu ft x2) = 6.85042 cu ft. Port width and height of 3 and 16.5 with tuning of 32hz = 13.209590389186754 port length. all math done with: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp Quote

Yes it is counting the front piece in that 15.75. So do I need to make that longer or shorter?? Quote

I was thinking that the port stopped 3" short of the back wall, so that the corner of the box would count as port length.
