Well when I got the other one started, I completely forgot to add the docking station in there, and aside of that, the current one is way too big. scooter99 Posted December 21, 2011 Author Report Posted December 21, 2011 Hey Merzbow, since you've been so kind in helping me with this enclosure, what do you think about a ported enclosure like this: I'm probably going to just go with this first and see how I like it. I've gotten word from some Hertz Dealers that they've had terrible luck with those subs sounding good in a 4th order box so I may not even go there considering my amateur skills and lack of experience. Port area looks a little low, maybe go up to 13si? Yes, what he said. I really like the rear deck lid idea, looks sweet! And thanks again for the vote! scooter99 Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 sure. Ok so I threw in corner 45s on each corner, approx 1.5" x 13" x .75" = .008 x 6 = .05 cu ft so I added that. I have 2 common port walls, and a port length of 28" at 1.75 width and 13 height. Gives me a net of 1.43cu ft, 15.86 port area per foot, port area of 22.75, at 36.07 hz.
