vega87
I would like to wrap this box with vinyl but i don't have that much experience with wrapping. The reason is why i want it in vinyl and not painted is because the other stuff is wrapped. i hope someone can give me some tips in how this would be the best and easy to wrap. (i plan on using 4 way stretch vinyl) I hope yall can help me Thanks !!

Never Satisfied
Contact cement and a spray gun... That's what I use on every thing I build... If you are ever satisfied, sounds like you gave up... Never Satisfied ~Team Ns~
roscoe1129
Your gunna need some dap contact adhesive (preferably the kind u can use in a spray gun) and a heat gun. Spray both vinyl and box then let tack till the glue is almost dry to the touch. Start in the middle of your enclosure and work your way out both ways and towards all edges using the heat gun to warm and streatch the vinyl and also to retack the glue. vega87
by looking at the pics you can wrap this right? Because i contacted a shop to see if they could wrap this for me and they told me that it was impossible and that they could try but they were going to charge me $200 to wrap. roscoe1129
Yup sure could... curves are easier than square corners imo. But I also do upholstry work profesionally so it doesn't scare me a bit just take your time and use the heat gun when needed just don't get the vinyl too hot ot it will melt. Also quality adhesive can be worked for quite some time by using the heat gun to release or retack it.
