DRauck
The subs are going in a wedge behind your seats, right? Fire the subs towards the rear of the truck if you can but build ring spacers so they don't hit the back wall from excursion. They'll sound best that way. You'll probably end up needing to sound deaden the back wall however 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log

DRauck
Build the biggest box you can, sealed, and make sure there's room for the spacers and it'll be good. 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log

DRauck
We made an mdf ring that went around the sub and then cut it into 4ths. So like we took the ring and cut it in 4 pieces and used 2 on each side (one on each side of each sub like on the picture). I hope that makes sense. As for space, you'd be right on. This is with subtracted 1.5" for your trim rings which should be doubled up MDF to make it 1.5" in thickness 2011 Honda CR-Z Mugen 12" Kicker SoloX Subwoofer Rockford Fosgate t20001bd Pioneer AVIC-X930BT Head Unit Build Log
