OrionStang
Does the dc amp have 10x switch or bp?? It has BP, but the highpass side only goes up to 300. It would be perfect for midbass or a 3-way setup, but for a 2-way setup, not so much. Ray
Id cut the mids at 70 4th order 3.5k 3rd order Tweets 3.5k 4th order That tweet doesnt do great below 3.5, but the 6 doesnt do good above 2.6 or so So.... In order to not pop tweets i just let the 6 play up Or you could add a 3" in that 5x7 spot and do 3way. OrionStang
Your losing me, Ray, its late. Could I use the inline crossovers(fmods) to do it? Ray
F mods are only 1st order x overs. 6db cut. You would need a 7k f mod for the tweeter to effectivly cut enough out at 3.5k Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz

OrionStang
Ray, I read the manual for the 6xs and it seems pretty cool. I would like to research it more, but the 'mobile audio' section of Audiocontrol.com is down. So, couple questions, do you stock the crossover modules in the freqs you mentioned above? And, how do you set front output to bandpass? Im kind of confused because there are separate outputs for front LP and front HP. I do have a local dealer, but they are one of "those". I've been there twice and facepalmed twice lol. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Ray
I have all the x over chips You would use front hi for tweet and rear output for midbass. It uses the front ho and rear lp to make a band pass And has sub out lp and infrasonic Quote 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
