fecupe2001 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 I don´t think so, single optima batt and stock alt? you are getting voltage drops for sure, only way that thing does rated it´s if you don´t drop below 14volts, but i don´t think for a daily application you should worry that much about rated power, i had a bxi2608D droppping to 12.9 volts and still sounded great , just saying... I have seen a lot of people that like the mb quarts so far... I thought my amp was getting hot, but then I grabbed a screwdriver out of the inside of my door and it burnt the hell out of me, so I know my amp is just hot from being in the hot truck lol so far...
