Start with a good amp to power what you currently have.

Yea they just dont sound that great... they lack low end reponse

My headunit distorts at like 41 out of 62??? WHY :(

and is amplifier power alot better than headunit power?

someone once told me that it's impossible to distort speakers by underpowering them, I kindly told the guy to fuck off lmao. amplifier power is much better, get a nice little amp on those rockfords and you're set, then again those rockfords aren't too powerful, little 4 channel amp should do them good though, you will not regret it.

the only thing you can do with those is run an amp on them that will help but you cant run active on coaxials

Coax aren't your biggest problem, the lack of door treatment is though. Deaden, decouple and a layer of some mlv with some more decoupler behind each speaker will go along way to making what you have better.

What is a decoupler? and yes planning on deadening the doors in the future

What does deadening help though?
