I was looking at getting an 07WX10000.1 KickerWarhorse with 2 SoloX 18s dual 2ohm in an mdf vented sub enclosure. Just wondering if this is a good build, and how many batteries and extra alternators i will need to power this system Thanks heaps

Danus The Manus Posted July 4, 2011 Author Report Posted July 4, 2011 Its going in a 2001 Mitsubishi Challenger, im currently running a kicker DCVR 2ohm 12" with a Kicker ZX750.1, I don't have that much experience, and my budget is maybe around 4k
Supercharged DCs Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Alright. I'll suggest starting a bit smaller man, cause you don't have the experience or budget to run what you've mentioned in the Op. My suggestion is based on the 4k budget being for a substage only. I'm going to suggest 2 DC Lv4 18s on a DC3500. Get yourself a Mechman or DC Power High Output alternator, a XS D3400 and a XS D3100. That should put you around $3.5k, then get ahold of some quality 0awg wiring, do your Big 3 in it, and make some runs from the front battery to the rear battery. Let's say that'll be another $150, use the rest of your budget to by materials for the enclosure. Bassless once again.
