Red Top & D1200

Recommended Posts

My D1200 should be here within the next few days, and I realized that I will now have two batteries (The D1200 and my current Optima red top). I've read around (and had a simple knowledge beforehand) about how mixing wet cells and AGMs is a BAD idea. Both of these batteries are AGM, so I'm good to wire em' up together right? I'm only asking because I don't know anything about the whole group mumbo jumbo, if that even plays a part here. I want to be 100% POSITIVE that it's okay to do this, I don't want to fuck anything up. I also don't want to spend a good 45 Bucks on 1/0 to wire em up and end up not being able to use both batts.

Thanks for any help.

If you got room to put them in then yes they can be wired together, just make sure you do it in parallel, not series.

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
