FknCrawler
I was looking up prices on AudioSavings and found ths Sub/Amp Combo, now I don't know alot about car audio so I thought this would be a good place to ask a few questions. 1. If this deal is good would I need to get a better set of speakers(+amp) to upgrade from the stock speakers I have now, which I think are blown. 2. Will I need to buy any extra accessories, or upgrade my battery/alternator? If I need new speakers+amp my budget is around $300, If you know any good combos for them. Thanks to anyone who helps. I'm new to everything audio, so take it easy on me. Quote 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback K24a2 Swap
lilboom
Thats a big upgrade id say you be needing 1 box a bunch of screws for subs/holding amp down 300watt 2/4 channel amp and replace the stock blown stuf with some nice 30-40 dollar coaxial/pioneer kicker ect ect ... an amp kit to add a second amp some knowledge of what goes where and how and you should be good.grab a voltmeter while you at it and if you dippin low into the 12 grab a small battery ...you shuld be set then buddy.have fun. 6berry
i would not recommend a kit like that as ive never heard of quantum audio and i dont know if its any good or not and its not the best deal for a setup like that. for the speakers you can just get some coaxials and run them off the headunit just like the stock speakers. for a setup that small you wouldnt need to do anything else besides you could do you big 3 just as a precaution.
