hey guys i have a question, its hard to explain but ill do my best.

my 15's share a common chamber ported box, when im playing, the sub closest to the port moves no problems just like it should, but the sub farthest from the port hits in time as the other sub, but not nearly as hard. like for example when playing White girl-young jeezy, at those low notes, the sub closest to the port is moving like crazy, real good excursion ( for what im pushing ) and the other one isn't doing much at all, but when its a bass-kick? they hit at the same time.. so i dont think there out of phase.. local shop said it might be my box because its common chambered. any ideas?

Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.

Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models )

Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm

Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood )

Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck.

Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine.

Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires

Bushwacker fender flares

Magnaflow true duel exhaust

LED tail lights with Projector headlights

Plasti-dip fun coming soon!

One of my subs was flexing more than the other one and it was cause one of the voice coils on the sub was bad. So i would try taking a multimeter to the voice coils and see what it reads

Since the one near the port is moving more, means its most likely is unloading(basically free air). You might need to redesign your box.

Did you check to see if the wiring was right?

yeah i used my Hifonics chart that came with my amp, to wire the 2 dual 2 ohm subs to a 2 ohm load so im sure its done right, but i just bought 10awg speaker wire so i will double check when i switch it out

the sub is probably unloading because it is right next to the port
