corteznewbie
i finally got my adjustable voltage reg wired up. with my multi meter and up to tempp the voltage reading at the batt was 14.8 and 14.9 at 2000 rpm but the gage on the dash was pegged out. so the reading at the batt ok til i can get a gauge that read straight off the battery? P4killer_
if your cold voltage is a 14.9 ishhh you should be ok, i mean 12v batts start to take a hit at voltages above 15 iirc so you are pushing the limits imo, but usually once the car warms up the charging voltage should dip some.. but i think ud be safe. corteznewbie
k i just wanted to make sure that was a safe way to take the measurement. i gotta rig up a new gauge for the jeep now. i checked all my batts. and they read 14.8 other than the one under the hood its at 14.9. but the factory gauge reads 19v lol Team DBs (Driven By sound)
