DudeWith4x4 Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Hey guys. I have two designs and I cant decide witch one I want. So please put in your two cents. This will box will be replacing my backseat in my F-150. If you dont like either of these and have a better design please help me. It is for a Kicker 18" Solo X so please don't bash kicker to much. Box one: Will have adjustable ports on the top and amp racks on the front. Box two: Two ports on the front. Will have a fiberglass front panel and ampracks on the sides. Thanks guys. Supercharged DCs Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 1st design, no doubt. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
Louisiana Bass Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 1st is easily more badass Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
DudeWith4x4 Posted July 11, 2011 Author Report Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) Lol Thanks guys. You always post on my threads. Should I have the front of the sub box part pushed back and do a fiberglass front panel? What should I do on the sides? They look kinda plain. A raised carpeted kicker logo maybe? Supercharged DCs Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) I would honestly leave it as is, and do a raised Kicker logo along the top/bottom/sides of the subwoofer part. Although, if you could glass the entire front panel to make the amp rack flow into the subwoofer, that would be sexy lol. Edited July 11, 2011 by Supercharged DCs Quote Bassless once again. The amp racks will have front panels with Plexi-glass and red LEDS. Sound awesome? Lol I'm gonna make it a little shallower. I like having more leg room. Supercharged DCs Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Sounds killer, get to building! Lol Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
Louisiana Bass Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 I think it would be pretty badass if you would use some nice paint, and paint the box black, then find a paint that matches your truck, get some kicker stencils, and paint em onto the box. And just make it flow into the amp rack, wouldn't be too hard, and it would look badass. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
DudeWith4x4 Posted July 11, 2011 Author Report Posted July 11, 2011 Sounds killer, get to building! Lol I gotta get the sub and sell mine. Hopefully trading for one this week I think it would be pretty badass if you would use some nice paint, and paint the box black, then find a paint that matches your truck, get some kicker stencils, and paint em onto the box. And just make it flow into the amp rack, wouldn't be too hard, and it would look badass. Like alot of kicker signs? Maybe some like paint drips? I could paint it. I have alot of tools I got for autobody classes. I could paint it college this year. Quote -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build.
