clownpRon Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) My friend moved and gave me this. I don't need it and was going to sell it, but I want to make sure it works or is fixable. He said he couldn't get it to keep a charge. I know nothing about car audio batteries so I'm not sure how to go about properly testing/repairing them. I know the system had two of these(this being one) with a 300amp alternator. He had 0/1 gauge ran to the trunk, and then 4 gauge split between terminals to two hifonic brutus 2k's. With one of the batteries also being ran to a 550watt amp for his internals. So I don't know if the batteries fine and he didn't produce enough current, or what. But I don't want to sell a heavy paper weight. Edited July 14, 2011 by clownpRon Quote

fecupe2001 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Try charging it first, do what n8 told you, wire it with another batt or try finding a good battery charger somewhere, those batts are very nice, maybe it had A LOT of time resting on his garage or something and just need some charging time Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
