MrSkippyJ
IMO it would be easier to design and build a new one instead of working around existing dimentions and box. The airspace and port might never be right. But with a new box you can make it perfect. But airspace WAS just right. My box also was build into the spare tire well. Lots of trim panels that would of needed to be redone. For me, it was easier to cut a hole and put in the PVC port. It is really situation dependent and I wouldn't sacrifice anything to make it work, but for me it was perfect. fecupe2001
I took a sealed 1.5 cubic feet box and installed an external pvc tube, flared it, got vinyl in there and some other things, it´s scoring a 139.5 with a single 12" 50$ pioneer sub and 400 watts from a piece of crap sony xplod amplifier, yes, you can port a sealed box if the internal space allows you to have a proper box for the sub you are going to use Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
