Ric Thornton Posted September 21, 2011 Author Report Posted September 21, 2011 the SMD's in that wall were the absolute best sounding woofers I have ever heard. These woofers are made by the same hands that builds the SMD's so they are still very good subwoofers. They have the ability to really suck the wind out of you... The SMD's were a little bit cleaner in sound ... but there has also been an amplifier change. and Ronnie, you are not right.

He has more info as well as experience with them. I don't sell Pioneer so I'm not really familiar with it... It's a beautiful radio though... I will say that.
