i love my X12. had sa-12 and Zv3 12 before.all were good.i wish Pulse was still around.

could you do a cone before building the sub? i hate inverted subs and the cone is relatively flat-ish.

i love those videos. i really want another Sundown Zv3 12" d1 to replace those 9512's . i think it would sound better and also be louder on the meter.

or you build it yourself. a used motor is around $100(depending on series and brand) and the recone is around $160+ shipping (DD)(add about $25 for glue kit)not sure how much a basket is but i would guess not much.so for maybe $300 or so you can have a beast sub that is fresh.

if going bigger i say go all the way(18") cone area is king. i loved mine when i had it. box was tuned to 30hz. played anything i wanted. i just reconed a dd9500 motor i had to a 18" just in case i feel like going back. also they just look impressive.

i know a focus trunk car that was running a single 12" sub doing 150+ from the trunk. he was using a 5k amp though and clamping over 3200w

find someone that has them and see if they will help? where are you located?
