newls1 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 I have an older (But in perfect condition) MTX TC4004 amp that I am going to try to power a single 8" RE sub with for testing purposes.. The amp is here ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-qRUogP7rRLA/p_236TC4004/MTX-Thunder-TC4004.html?tab=detailed_info ) The 8" is a D4 and the amp is stable to 2ohms, so my question is how to wire it to the amp correctly? The amp has a switch for 2ch/4ch operation, and is bridgable so it seems....... HELP!!!!! Thanks!! I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
