Bigsunni
The sub I have was a prototype that I got my hands on. It's only 1 sub that has 4 voice coils on it. This will b my 1st build with a sub this size. I already have the 0 gauge wire, 300 amp alt, Kenetik 2400 batts r on the way, I just need an amp 2 handle this sub. I'm pushing a MA180XL but it's only 1600 watts. It's good 4 a lil bump but like a junkie I need more than that.

STEvil
I need help finding an amplifier that can push a 18 inch concept audio CSP18 8000 watts peak 4000 RMS. It has four voice coils that push 2000 watts each. so why dont you just wall socket the sub?? it will give you moar powa than you need it....the sub will be happy! Wall sockets are only good for 15A @ 120v (1800W, unsure on the required impedance for that though lol...). Guess you could go to 220 though.. Edited July 17, 2011 by STEvil Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
