Been a big help with drop, Lowest I seen was 14.0 way into clipping.. peep the voltage now. It drags down the engine a bit, but its not anything to worry about just yet. Gonna buy a RPM guage and monitor it and be done with it. Oh and Kyle down at DC power said I might be the only guy with this alt on a civic in the world. Not too shabby.. CaPRiCEx383 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 It was actually pretty easy! Just had to grind down the brackets a bit and it bolted up perfectly. Getting it in there was simple too, took off the master cylinder, couple brackets and wire conectors and shove it down there. What a relief to have it done though, I got some nice cuts and rashes from it too! Haha until yesterday, I did too.. This thing straight bypassed the ELD too I think. So I get 14.9 all day! 04murdalanche Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 I got a XP270 and freakin love it I charge at 15.3 as well. 2 106 ah batts (one running stock duites) and I hardly have any voltage drop, even at idle the lowest I drop is 12.7 with only one dedicated audio battery.
