VIP3R Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 Well I originally had 2 Phoenix Gold RSDC 10s ported behind the rear seat. We made brackets to bump the seat forward and what not. Still enough room to sit comfortably Went great for 6+ months. Then blew a sub. Amp took a crap and sent it off to kicker. Yellow top died as well. Being in AZ summer heat probably did not help either! Oh well, now I have learned a bit more so here it is! 2001 F150 Supercrew 4x4 2 Sundown Audio SA-10s (with Audiobahn Speaker grills to protect them!) Box built by Speed of Sound tuned at 35hz! Forget the box size! LOL its around 2+ something all together! Kicker 1500.1 (repaired by kicker and better than ever! wired @ 2 ohm load.) Infinity Ref 475a (bought this when I was new new at car audio) Rockford Fosgate T1682c 6x8s (hope to upgrade eventually! depends what I can fit!) Pioneer Premier DEH-510UB XS Power D6500 Stock 130amp Alt (will upgrade if necessary, but voltage is sitting well right now!) Big 3 Hooked it up so far and sounds great! These things love the low notes! Still need to mess with the gain and tune it better, but I have a rough estimate until my DD-1 arrives! I am going a bit easy on them and not full tilt until then! Shoutout to Jacob at Sundown Audio for helping answer all my questions! and Byron at XS power as well! Thanks to everyone else as well that I pm'd! Can't wait until they break in more! Sorry for the amount of pictures. Did not get to take much pictures of the box, etc. This is what I got! (Excuse the speaker wiring from the amp. I really wanted to hear it, so I took a shortcut! haha) Now I am waiting on new black headlights to arrive to make my truck look a bit better! Time to diagnose...maybe its just a faulty amp? My infinity has been kicking since day one! I dont know what to do Working on new headlights still. Some issues came up with that!
