Mha Posted July 14, 2011 Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 ambrized528 does your midgate box fold down? I have an avalanche and like the idea of it folding down. Im not much.of.a box builder so I wanted to just buy one. Im also a kicker l7 fan(think squares look kool, I know im a noob). Anyways I had 2 15 l7s in 6cuft each and loved them but the midgate boxes dont realy have to much air space if they fold down. Anyways I saw one on ebays that holds 2 15 l7s but only has 3cuft for both chamber. What do you think? Will they sound good. It looks to small. How much aire space do your have? ambrizd528 Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 sorry guys i havnt checked this thread in a while, Mha my box doesnt fold down, thought about it but im no master builder. l7 15s according to kicker specs need min of 3cuft each so 1.5 does sound like it wont be enough, i dont remember how much space i have in mine i will have to go measure it, it was something like 40" length 20" depth and 20" height or somthing like that i pretty much just built it like the prefab boxes that they come in. went off those measurements. i ended up somthing 38ish hz.
