I would not recommend cadence 1/0awg unless you want cca, even if it not cca it's damn close, and anyone that has a true 1/0awg ofc wire and compares it to the cadence then you will know. It physically does not weigh enough to be a true ofc and the strands are brittle and break easily when you tighten them down in the amp. I don't give a fuck what anyone says, the cadence isn't a true ofc. But I'm sure it would be just fine in this case, for what you need... I'm just saying don't buy cadence expecting a true ofc wire cause it defiantly isn't

I'm not possitive on the exact numbers so I hope someone else chimes in! An ofc 1/0 can pull up to 300 amps or so. And an ofc I think can do close to 200 but maybe more like 180. I hope that if I'm wrong someone corrects me

lol , the cca is cheaper then the cca because I live in canada and it's 20 $ for shipping at audio saving.

Holy confused people... :trippy:

I use welding wire 4 my big 3 its chep

Okay typo, my bad I meant that a cca wire does around 200amp... And obviously I'm the only person that has ever had a typo and that is worthy of a stupid fucking little sign in a forum. Thanks to the mother fucking English teacher here

KFK is OFC.

KCA is CCA.

CCA has higher resistance thus the longer the run of wire, the more resistance and the more voltage drop you get. also when it gets hot, resistance shoots up even more.

OFC is pretty much the norm when buying types of wire. more expensive, but can carry much higher loads and keeps the resistance down.
