which way to go.......

hey guys, right now im running a Clarion VZ401, 7" flip out but it is only a 2 volt preout. my brother in law wants to buy it off of me. should i get a pioneer 6300 which has a 4 volt preout or go with a good deck and do a ipad. is the sound quality going to be good enough with the ipad for sound and bass levels. thanks for your time..

traditional headunit would be better. I have done a lot of ipad stuff and recently finished a PC based system that as cool as it is... still has a ton of bugs to work out.
